    Riverview Retreat

Riverview Retreat, run on behalf of the Satsang Foundation, is a haven for those seeking a quiet space to contemplate and reflect in meditative solitude. The Camp-Site here is the space for education related workshops and interactions with students and teachers.

Located in village Taighat, this Centre has also created space for women empowerment projects. Women from the close by villages are encouraged to revive their generations old skills; they are provided necessary training and guidance and are encouraged to become self sufficient units.

Tejinder Walia, the spirit behind this initiative, will share this journey briefly with the participants. Mrs Neeta Deshpande’s presentation will put this initiative in a larger perspective by sharing her rich experience with textile designs and crafts of different regions of India. Neeta is the Founder of Banjaras, Pune. You too can become part of this story of creativity and empowerment by reflecting over your possible role in this collective effort.

The handicrafts will be on display, in the backdrop of the panoramic view of the Krishna valley. We invite you to interact with the craftswomen, Resource persons and to enjoy the traditional food of the region, prepared by them.
