The Walk of Hope 2015-16 will be in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the 7th Indian state in its published itinerary, as per schedule, from 7 – 15 January 2016. The week-long program planned for the city include City Walks, Satsangs and several interactions that are in the process of finalisation.

Place for stay: Axis College, Rooma
Dates for stay: 09-12th Jan 2016
Place for stay: Ramlila Society Meston Road, Kanpur
Dates for stay: 13-15th Jan 2016
Place for stay: Orient Resorts, Bhauti (just before Kanpur Dehat district)
All are welcome and you are invited to participate with family and friends. There is no registration required or entry fee for any of the events of the Walk of Hope. All participants are requested to wear a white top for all the events in the city.

The Kanpur Nagar Program

Walk – Aung Village to Sarsaul

Event – None

Walk – Axis College to Rama Devi Chauraha

Event – None

Walk – Nana Rao Park to JK Temple

Event – Conclude at JK Temple with darshan

Event – Samvad in afternoon, followed by candlelight march to Sarsaiya Ghat and conclude with Ganga Aarti.

Event – Exclusive talk with students.

Walk – Nana Rao Park to Green Park Stadium

Event – Anniversary event with Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav

Walk – JK Cotton Mills to Salil Warehouse on NH2

Event – Lohri Festival

Day of Rest

Event – None

Walk – Jawahar Navodaya Vidayalaya to Akbarpur Degree College

Event – Talk with meritorious children (from poor families) at Navodaya Vidayalaya at the start
of walk. At the end of walk city residents and students will gather at Akbarpur Degree college
