The Maha Shivaratri celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, 1st March, 2022 at Madanapalle.
Programme
The celebrations will begin at 11.00 am on Tuesday, 1st March and end at 08.00 am, Wednesday, 2nd March 2022. The main Programme will be over by midnight of 1st March. There will be a group meditation followed by breakfast on the morning of 2nd March.

Option A [Without accommodation] – Rs.1500/- Includes vegetarian food comprising of lunch, snacks with tea [evening] & dinner on 1st March [Tuesday] AND morning tea & breakfast on 2nd March [Wednesday].
Participants under this option will have to make their own arrangements for stay. A list of Hotel accommodations in Madanapalle is provided below.
Option B-[With accommodation]-Rs.1800/- Includes everything under Option A above and Dormitory accommodation [Classrooms converted into Dorms] at the venue on Tuesday, 1st March,- one night only.
Option B is now CLOSED !
Due to space constraints, only limited participants can be accommodated at the dormitories and hence bookings for Option B will be on a first-come-first-booked basis. If we are unable to accommodate you under Option B, we will intimate the same and you will be given the opportunity to get registered under Option A.
Participation fee covers not only the food, but also all the infrastructure arrangements required for the Maha Shivaratri celebrations.
Imp Note: Registration is a MUST for participating in the Celebrations.
In case you want your driver to be served food at the venue, kindly register him in Option A. Option B is not available for drivers due to limited availability of dorms.

About the Accommodation at the Venue
- Dormitory accommodation is provided in The Satsang Vidyalaya classrooms.
- Accommodation at the Venue opens only on 1st March [Tuesday] morning and is upto 2nd March [Wednesday] morning.
- One night only.
- One mattress and two bed sheets per participant will be provided.
- Common Toilets/Baths will be provided separately for Women and Men.Drinking water will be provided in the dorms.
- You are suggested to bring along [air] pillow, mosquito repellent, torchlight and Umbrella
- We regret our inability to entertain requests for extension of stay and early arrival at Dorms.
Revision of Requirement of Negative RTPCR
Based on the govt guidelines and the current situation, negative RTPCR test report for entry into The Satsang Foundation campus is no longer required. This also applies for the registered participants of the upcoming Shivaratri celebrations on 1st March 2022. As mentioned in the confirmation email, vaccination certificate or a signed self-declaration form will be required.
Visitors will however be required to follow all other Covid-19 appropriate protocols including wearing a mask at all times and maintaining social distancing. Upon arrival, all visitors will be screened thermally at the security Kiosk.
