Seva and Serving Humanity
Satsang Seva Mission
"When you serve a less fortunate person in any way, material or spiritual, you are not doing him a favour. In fact, he who receives your help does you a favour by accepting what you give, and thereby helps you to evolve and move closer to the Divine, Blissful Being who in reality is within you and in the hearts of all beings."
– Sri M
The Satsang Seva Mission, born during the initial throes of COVID-19 in April 2020, has mushroomed into a remarkable force for positive change. Grounded in the principle of selfless service (seva), it excels in nourishing, upskilling, and rehabilitating communities facing destitution and despair, propelling them towards inclusion in the mainstream. The initiative serves as a conduit for spiritual purification, enabling selfless service to the Divine in its human form—Nara Narayana.
The Satsang Seva Mission is currently active in over 14 states and has touched the lives of over 831,215+ individuals including children, adults, senior citizens, students, indigenous groups, and marginalized communities. A dedicated cadre of over 100 volunteers tirelessly plans and executes sevas, helping to remove barriers to food security, education, and healthcare.
