Shruti is something that is heard. Not what is studied, taken home and commented upon and discussed. Shruti is pure sound and therefore Vedas declared that the Shruti is the original voice of the truth. Therefore, when the student is perfectly prepared, Shruti once said it is enough. There is no more need to attend the talks.
