Is there unbound freedom? That was the quest of the Upanishads. And the Upanishads said YES, there is such a freedom. They said, they also experienced it I am sure that the true self of the human being, the true self of a man or a woman, the essence of one’s being called the consciousness in its absolute purity is free anyway!
