A Tale of Two Schools
The story of The Satsang Foundation (TSF) schools is not merely a tale of two schools—The Satsang Vidyalaya (TSV) in Madanapalle and the Stya Satsang Vidyalaya in Lathira—but a singular, powerful narrative of how a community can rise above challenging circumstances to heights of academic and physical excellence.
A Promise of Equitable Opportunities
This profound transformation began with a simple premise: education is a great equalizer.
Children of single parents, orphans under the care of aging grandparents, and families of daily wage earners and farm workers have found a path to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty and restrictive social injunctions.
Their well-being has manifested in myriad ways at each school.

Celebrating recent academic achievements
The Satsang Vidyalaya recently celebrated the academic achievements of two alumni and a Grade 9 student presently enrolled at the school.
The Syed Brothers - Uvez and Mufaz - have performed exceptionally well in their Intermediate Examinations with near-perfect scores. Their achievements are especially moving given their modest family background. Their father works tirelessly as a tomato vendor, operating from a cycle rickshaw, while their mother manages their home. Despite these financial challenges, their dedication has led them to academic excellence.
M. Hasini’s project on "Accident Prevention Due to Overload of Vehicles at Highways" for presentation at the Inspire Manak District Science Exhibition. Hailing from an economically-vulnerable family from the Lambadi community, her selection for this accomplishment is indeed laudable.
Official recognition from the State Government
On 31 March 2026, the District Collector of Annamayya presented The Satsang Vidyalaya with the P4 Scheme award, recognizing the school as a premier partner in the state’s mission to eradicate educational deprivation.
These triumphs are the fruit of Sri M’s vision, the generous support of our donors, and the unwavering hard work of our students and staff.

The Nutrition Revolution
In the early years of the school, the mornings were quiet for the wrong reasons. Children arrived at the gates with hollow eyes and slumped shoulders, the weight of malnutrition making the simple act of holding a pencil feel like a burden.
The transformation began at the breakfast table. By replacing empty calories with a "Power Breakfast" of milk, gur (jaggery), makhana (fox nuts), and immunity-boosting Chyawanprash, the management of the erstwhile Chanda Satsang Vidyalaya, Lathira Village literally fueled a “Nutritional Revolution.”
High-protein meals for lunch—paneer, eggs, and soy, the simple addition of fresh ginger-garlic chutneys—further bolstered the health of the children. Consistent medical support and health checkups ensured holistic care for each child through the years.
The result: Children who once succumbed to the exhaustion of long walks through monsoon floodwaters now sprint across the playground. For the first time in two years, the medical records show a victory: zero skin infections despite the harsh environment. The children haven’t just grown in height; they have grown in confidence and spirit.
Sustained mentorship and empowerment
The story of both the schools continues to flourish with a focus on digital literacy for the children, parental literacy for the parents and elders of the communities, and constant mentorship to ensure that the children stay in school.
Barriers are beginning to dissolve, labels are fading away as these bright young minds in different locations are surging ahead equipped with the tools required to navigate and lead change in their families and communities.
At The Satsang Vidyalaya and Stya Satsang Vidyalaya, the school bell doesn't just signal the end of a lesson—it signals the awakening of a community that has finally realized its own power.
