“When you serve a less fortunate person in any way – material or spiritual, you are not doing him a favor. In fact, he who receives your help does you a favor by accepting what you give thereby helping you to evolve and move closer to the divine blissful being, who in reality is within you and in the hearts of all beings.”
–Sri M
The Satsang Skill Development Centre (SSDC) Madanapalle, an endeavor of The Satsang Foundation (TSF), has consistently worked since November 2018 to help skill and develop the talents and vibrant minds of young adults aged between 18-25 years in the region of Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.
Since its inception, the SSDC has successfully trained 10 batches of students, 250 in total, including 27 participants of the 10th Batch that concluded on 26th December, 2023. All participants of this batch have been placed in various jobs in Retail, Hospitality, and Logistics organizations in Bengaluru and the local, commercial organizations in Madanapalle.
The SSDC training paradigm plays a crucial role in securing suitable jobs after a 4-month-long training program.
Spoken English Skills, MS Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Mathematics, Accounting Principles, and Tally form the crux of the practical training while psycho-social concerns encompassing life skills, identity, and mutual respect support the personal development of the trainees.
Addressing this latest batch, Sri M emphasized the importance of discipline, attitude, and continuous learning at the workplace.
