According to the Tantras, Shiva, the Supreme Being resides on the Sahasrara Chakra, with his legs extended downward, touching the bhrumadhya, the center between the eyebrows. The point at which the sushumna nadi enters the Sahasrara Chakra is known in the Tantras as the Brahmarandhra. It is described as the opening or gateway to Brahman, the Supreme Being.
