Spiritual development is not a mass affair. We cannot develop spiritually in groups.

In our relationship with the spiritual teacher – I won’t even use the word spiritual – in your relationship with the teacher, please be frank, truthful and clear.

Every day when you wake up in the morning, or go to bed at night, look at yourself and say, ‘where am I, what am I doing?

At least in spiritual matters, please don’t lie!

The insistence is on finding the truth – going towards the truth.

So often, there may be a madman sitting in a corner, in the bus stand, or in the street somewhere, who may not show any powers, but he could very easily be an advanced, spiritual person.

While we practice our sadhana, if we sometimes get some powers, see lights or hear sounds – do not think that God is going to come!

If both shraddha and saburi are there, then definitely, there is no problem in sadhana.

Shraddha means absolute one-pointed attention. It has been translated as ‘Faith’ also.

Have patience in the face of criticism. Even when greatly agitated, try to be patient.
