The second International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Satsang Campus Madanapalle was celebrated in the presence of Sri M. Participants included Staff and Students of The Satsang Vidyalaya and The Satsang Rural School, SWECHA Women’s Group, Support Staff and Staff of Swasthya Kendra and local residents, totaling around 50 participants.

The Yoga Session started with prayer to the Guru. Sri M also distributed a booklet on ‘Yoga Protocol in Telugu’ .

Sri M addressed the participants and shared that Yoga is an ancient art aimed at refining the body as well as the mind. Sri M, on this occasion reiterated that he has been practicing yoga from the age of 10 and it has helped him a lot. He also on this occasion brought to everyone’s notice that Sri Narendra Modi, our Prime Minister also participated in the Yoga Day Celebrations at Chandigarh. He encouraged all present to invest time for practicing Yoga and benefit from it.

Sri Rangaswamy, Yoga Guide, then led the participants through a series of yoga postures, explaining the significance of each asana, pranayama and meditation. At the end of the session,Sri M demonstrated ‘Tolasana’ a fairly difficult Yogasana.
