Founded by Sri M in 2006 and inaugurated by the late President Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, The Peepal Grove School is a residential school set on a 30+ acre campus, offering an environment where learning is joyful, experiential and closely connected with nature. The school is guided by the belief that education must nurture not only intellectual growth, but also inner clarity, sensitivity, and responsibility.

“Children are sensitive, open-minded and vulnerable. They need to be shown ways and means to gather knowledge and understanding, and learn for themselves. Since learning is associated with space—both internal and external—at The Peepal Grove School, we consciously include experiences such as outdoor classes, bird-watching, trekking, and painting outdoors, rather than limiting learning to the classroom. Teachers here serve as friendly guides, encouraging dialogue, reflection, and independent thinking rather than spoon-feeding.”
