Yogadham at the MahaKumbh Mela 2025

Plan ahead to participate between Makar Sankranti to Mahashivratri

From 13th Jan to 26th Feb ‘2025, The Satsang Foundation is setting up its Yogadham at the MahaKumbh at Prayagraj, India. This is a unique opportunity for seekers to  experience the once-in-12-years phenomenon, in a conducive and supportive setting, under the guidance of Sri M.

The Yogadham is being strategically planned in the VIP area of the MahaKumbh, near Someshwar Mahadev Temple and DPS School, right on the banks of the Ganga and close to the Triveni Sangam. In addition to the activities and programs organized within the Yogadham, this prime location offers opportunities for Snaans, visits to Akhadas, and interactions with local artisans. The presence of a nearby police control center and liaison with Safai Karamcharis ensures a safe and clean environment for all attendees.

Each of the 45 days at the Yogadham is being meticulously planned to provide a holistic MahaKumbh experience for the attendees. The MahaKumbh offers an extraordinary opportunity to be in the presence of many spiritual masters from across our great land, all gathered for this sacred event.

The MahaKumbh serves as a vibrant gathering of millions of seekers, blending the everyday life of our diverse culture with its profound spiritual heritage, all aimed at benefiting humanity.

In alignment with its mission, The Satsang Foundation is happy to facilitate this ‘sat-sang’ for everyone interested.

  2. 2. Dhyan Parv

Triveni Sangam and Yogic Experience

In yogic philosophy, the sacred rivers—Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati—correspond to the ida, pingala, and sushumna nadis, the subtle energy channels that flow through the body. Practicing yoga sadhana harmonizes the ida and pingala nadis, allowing us to access the sushumna and awaken one’s higher consciousness, much like the powerful convergence of these three rivers at the sangam.

Being present at this confluence bestows profound blessings, while taking a dip in the holy waters facilitates deep purification. Practicing sadhana by the banks enhances spiritual growth, as the sacred energy of the rivers enriches meditation and strengthens our connection with the higher Self.

We warmly invite you to the Triveni Sangam, a place where the material and spiritual realms merge, offering every seeker a unique opportunity to deepen their practice and journey inward.

Yoga Sadhana for Body, Mind, and Beyond

At the Yogadham, morning sadhana will begin at 6 am with asanas, pranayama, dhyana and mantra chanting. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to engage in various sadhanas and activities like:

  • Mantra Chanting & Yoga: Begin your day invoking your Guru and God for guidance and creating the internal atmosphere for your inward journey. This is followed by 1 hour of yoga asana and pranayama practice.
  • Snaans: Participate in ritual baths in the holy rivers.
  • Akhadas: Visit akhadas at the MahaKumbh to engage with spiritual teachers from across the land.
  • Satsang with Sri M: Attend satsangs with Sri M, including discourses on the Upanishads and the Yoga Vashista.
  • Sadhu Seva: An opportunity to serve the ascetics and sadhus as part of your spiritual practice.
  • Bhajans and Kirtans: Join in devotional singing to uplift your spirit and connect with the divine.
  • Kumbh Parikrama: Take a spiritual pilgrimage around the sacred sites of the Kumbh, circling important places or temples.
  • Connect with Fellow Seekers: Share experiences and build a spiritual community with like-minded individuals.
  • Learn New Things: Explore new yogic practices, mantras, and ancient yogic theories.
