The only true ‘Apara-vidya’, which leads to ‘Vijnana’, is the non-verbal, transcendental experience of the Supreme Truth.
It takes place when the mind becomes absolutely still, having discovered the uselessness of mental acrobatics and is thus free from every trap that the thought lays. Then, that which transcends thought and is expressed as pure existence—self-effulgent and the very essence of love—‘Asti-bhati-priya’ of the Brahma Sutras of Vyasa is revealed in all its glory.
