The Phase 2 of MyTree initiative—proposed by Sri M—was implemented in Bangalore, Karnataka by the Satsang Foundation volunteers at Bangalore. The volunteers continued their support to the MyTree initiative and successfully planted 105 saplings in Phase 2 of the Bangalore campaign at Cheleker Lake, Babusapalya.

18 volunteers were part of the planting that began at 8.00 am on 17th July 2016. They planted 15 different varieties of native trees – including Neem, Honge, Jacaranda, Mango & many others. Now being familiar with the format, the volunteers were able to wrap up the tree plantation drive in 3 hours. The planting pits were dug, adequate manure was put, then 4-5 feet tall saplings were planted and, finally, each planted sapling was watered.
