Dear MyTree Warriors, we invite you to pay homage to Sri M in celebration of the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima and right through to Founder’s Day, 6 November 2024

Planet Earth, beleaguered by indiscriminate deforestation and the devastation of life and prosperity, calls out to us human denizens to reset the clock and rejuvenate our home through the conservation of trees and afforestation drives.

The MyTree Each One, Plant Two Movement is now in its third year! Dear MyTree Warriors and participants of Phase 1, congratulations on reaching Phase 2 of the Each One, Plant Two Movement!

Guru Purnima 2016 marked the beginnings of  a unique environmental endeavour by Sri M to plant and nurture trees in a bid to green the planet, reduce our carbon footprint, and promote sustainable living.

Over 1000 trees were planted in about 5000 sq ft of land. The trees were chosen and the planting grid designed based on the Miyawaki Dense Forest concept as adapted to local conditions.

Over the past seven years, the number of saplings planted during each  plantation drive undertaken by the TSF centres and kendras has grown steadily to over 68,000 currently.

The Satsang Foundation and Exnora International signed an MoU, to set up ‘Urban Dense Forests’ in 100 schools and communities across Tamil Nadu this year.

Sri M says, “The act of planting a tree and taking care of its growth establishes an inner connection with nature. Understanding this inner connection results in our personal growth.”

Volunteers across the country dedicated their effort and time to plant trees. Multiple projects were actioned all over India and abroad. Some large projects have been initiated and are ongoing. We still have some time left this year to plan and plant.
