‘I Grow My Greens’ Challenge

On the occasion of Shivaratri, 8th March 2024, The ‘I Grow My Greens’ challenge was launched by Sri M at Madanapalle.

This initiative has a multi-dimensional impact to help:
1. Establish a visceral connection with Nature.
2. Provide a home-grown source of essential nutrition, free of carcinogenic pesticides.
3. Re-establish traditional, holistic, nutrition sources into modern diets, through home-grown greens and relevant recipes.

Within two weeks of launch close to 300 kits have been signed up for, by individuals.

Further, the Legacy School in Bangalore has initiated a campaign amongst its students to each take a ‘I Grow My Greens’ kit home and introduce this as a Parent-Child activity. All 150 students of this school will receive this kit.

Team MyTree has also released an “Instruction Pamphlet” that gives complete instructions on planting, caring for, and harvesting the spinach kits.

All participants in the challenge are requested to share their progress with the kits before April 22nd (Earth Day).

To get your own kits and participate in this initiative, please write to mytree@satsang-foundation.org.
