MyTree Project

Sri M says, “The act of planting a tree and taking care of its growth establishes an inner connection with nature. Understanding this inner connection results in our personal growth.”

Volunteers across the country dedicated their effort and time to plant trees. Multiple projects were actioned all over India and abroad. Some large projects have been initiated and are ongoing. We still have some time left this year to plan and plant.

The Thrissur Chapter of the Manav Ekta Mission’s MyTree initiative organised a planting ceremony

The Satsang Foundation volunteers from Bengaluru succeeded in conducting a MyTree drive at The Spastics Society, Indira Nagar on 27th September 2016.

The volunteers based in Chennai have been actively implementing the MyTree project across multiple locations within the city

The Satsang Foundation volunteers kick-started the tree planting activity in Chennai on 9th September 2016.

About 30 trees were planted in the school grounds – the number had to be restricted due to limited availability of space.

Around 100 enthusiastic volunteers of The Satsang Foundation went about planting over 337 trees under the MyTree Project

The school also has about 35 children who are differently abled, who actively participated.

The Satsang Foundation volunteers in Coimbatore partnered with the children of Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy
