International Yoga Research Foundation (IYRF), Kerala

Located at Cheruvikkal, a quaint village nestled amidst lush greenery and sprawling plantations in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. The peaceful atmosphere here makes it an ideal destination for those seeking spiritual growth and inner peace. 

With a history of Yoga and various cultural customs, Cheruvikkal is the perfect geographical and cultural setting for the International Yoga Research Foundation (IYRF), envisioned by Sri M.

On 1st May 2023, Sri M inaugurated the initial block of the International Yoga Research Foundation, featuring a Meditation hall that can comfortably seat upto 35 people, along with a Yoga hall that can accommodate another 45 people. Additionally, the building also houses an Office room and a Discussion room. The Center will be instrumental in taking up the much needed evidence based research,  to derive measurable parameters on the benefits and effects of yoga and meditation on the human mind and body. 

I want this centre to be a place where we can collect enough data to aid the study and research of yoga and meditation, as many consider this as a non-scientific approach.

Future plans for the IYRF include a Library, Research Centre, space for cultural activities, traditional Kerala martial arts, and Guesthouses. 

The goal of the Research Centre is to collect adequate and ongoing data to aid the scientific study and research on the impact of Meditation.
