CSVL Seeks to Move into its Own Space

When Chanda Satsang Vidyalaya (CSVL) in Lathira village, Uttar Pradesh was inaugurated by Sri M on 30th June, 2017, little did anyone envisage that in a span of five years it would set  a benchmark for providing free quality education, nutritious food and health care to children of impoverished daily wagers in the area. Started with 14 children in Nursery school and 51 in Bridge classes, CSVL now has a combined strength of 134 children studying up to Class 7. Each academic year, a new class is added, till Class 10. Sri M’s vision is to provide an innovative learning experience for children from the five surrounding villages of Garh Mukteshwar district.

The school won hearts during the pandemic by providing adequate rations to families of the children and ensuring continuance of education through self-learning worksheets for the little ones who had little or no access to online space. Constant interaction with the families of the children through the Principal, teachers and administrative staff, kept their hopes and dreams alive. The children are now at par with UP Board standards and have age-appropriate health and life skills. Weaned off child labour and provided adequate care and support, the children have truly blossomed with a growing hunger for learning in the safe and stimulating environment of CSVL.

In March this year, as they joyously trooped back to school after the pandemic, Sri M paid a visit to the school to meet and interact with the staff and students. The bright faced children glowed in anticipation of the visit and performed yoga, songs and skits in honour of their beloved founder.

During the same visit, Sri M laid the foundation stone of their very own new building, close to the premises the school is located in.

As the children progress by leaps and bounds, new and improved infrastructure is being planned. The layout and design of the school has been finalized under the guidance of Sri M. The structure will be environment friendly and create a happy learning space for the children. The construction is expected to start after the Monsoons.

CSVL seeks your support in providing them with a promising future as informed and responsible citizens of the country, by donating towards building their new premises along the banks of the serene Ganga.
