Avistaran Yoga is a nine-day yoga retreat for executives and for people with high stress jobs.

In the current times where life is becoming increasingly fast paced and every individual is playing multiple roles in their day to day lives. From being an active parent, to a manager heading a big creative team or to heading an entire firm where the livelihoods of many are dependent on them. People often struggle to strike a harmonious balance between work, home, and family. In the process of doing so, the individual’s health (both physical and mental) gets neglected the most and people drive themselves to an early burn out.

The most precious instrument that anyone has is their body and mind, hence it is essential that everyone gives priority to taking care of themselves. With this nine-day Yoga retreat, we implore you to step back from the daily grind and take time to pause, reflect, and learn how to take care of your bodies and minds better.

This retreat is for people with desk jobs, sedentary lifestyles or jobs with a high stress factor. For people who have early life health issues resulting from their lifestyles or jobs. In this retreat the participants will be introduced to practical tools, Yoga asanas and meditation techniques that are meant to improve posture, spinal strength and flexibility, focus and most importantly reduce mental stress.

As a part of the course participants will also receive a one-on-one consultation with the in-house Ayurveda doctor and yoga therapist. Guidance and support will be provided after the course as well which will enable them to come up with their own diet, daily Yoga asana, pranayama and meditation plan to excel at their respective roles in life. BYVK team will provide continued support post course completion.

In this 9 – day residential retreat the participants will be introduced to

  • 28 Yoga asanas to improve strength, flexibility and concentration
  • 4 pranayama techniques to improve focus and mindfulness
  • 3 meditation techniques to calm the mind
  • Theory on proper diet and a balanced lifestyle
  • Personal consultation with the in-house Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Doctor
  • Guidance and support from the BYVK team post the retreat has ended
